A North Carolina grand jury indicted a former detention middle nurse this 7 days on a demand of involuntary manslaughter for her role in the 2019 dying of a Black male in custody, in accordance to the indictment received by CNN, but spared the corrections officers who restrained the male.

According to previous reporting by CNN, John Elliot Neville, 56, of Greensboro, expert an “unknown” health care unexpected emergency although in custody at the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Middle, creating him to drop off his prime bunk.
